The Continuum: Lifelong Learning in Neurology is the official continuing medical education (CME) journal of the American Academy of Neurology (AAN). It’s a six-times-a-year publication that focuses on in-depth reviews of current and emerging topics in neurology, aiming to help practicing neurologists, residents, fellows, and other neurology professionals stay updated and enhance their clinical skills. Each issue covers a single topic area, often with a three-year curricular cycle of core topics like neurocritical care and neuro-infectious diseases. The journal also includes case studies, practice-based learning, and CME activities, fostering lifelong learning and critical thinking.
